Julie Koehler and Nicole Ida Fossi - High Contrast: A Fellowship Show

This exhibition features the work of Studio Gallery’s Fellowship Artists: Julie Koehler and Nicole Ida Fossi. Fossi’s oil paintings explore the effects of pose and body language, highlighting differences with contrasting color. Koehler’s photograms combine familiar and unfamiliar forms to create intricate images with a sense of mystery. Together, the work represents contrasts of medium, color, size, and subject, while being unified by a sense of exploration.
